Keys’ whisper are more than just a calling.
In Locke and Key season 2 we learn, how the keys are made, and who can make them as well. To understand we start with the process of forging keys. Last season, Omega was the most dangerous key, as it hold the power to close the other demonic dimension. Even during the few seconds its opened, whispering irons shot out like a bullet. If the iron hits human, they get possessed by the demon.
However, if it lands on the ground, it can be turned into keys. Failed experiments, tricky advices and unfortunates loss, we get to learn not every key fulfills its maker’s purpose. Another important detail, not everyone can forge keys. Only the Locke siblings can, but even out of them not every one can forge a key. Maker’s true intention plays a vital role in forging keys.

Season 2 Main stay Character
In this season, we witness, the descendant keeper, Aaron Ashmore a recurring role through out the season. In addition, Buddy gets his memory back through of fortunate and unfortunate events. This makes him another adult who can remember magic besides the alive descendant keepers of the keys.
The key maker gives us a front sit view to the key forging process. Later in the story, the elder Locke sibling follows, but sadly the key fails to keep its intend alive.
Bode’s new friend Jamie, stole many of the viewers heart. The adorable girl showcased an impressive array of emotions.

What do the Critics say?
Too many keys poses an initial concern, but given the show revolves around the superstitious keys, which could be good or botched. Keys are a prime focus. The keys are a huge advantage for the protagonists of the show. But on the wrong hands, it can be easily turn evil.
Nonetheless, there are moments, that feel unnecessary. Long, and meaningless conversations. Don’t get me wrong when its time for action. I am all in, from the outstanding Graphics to plot.
As the series came to an end, it left us with many questions but no room for sequel. Rather unsatisfying climax given the previous epic end.

What more can the Locke Siblings do? What terrors will the new echo havoc?
These will be answered in the Locke and Key Season 3, that might premiere late 2022.
