Production
May 2019, the German director announced to writing and directing one of the most expensive independent films. Moonfall is $140 budget set movie based on a script co-written by Roland with Spenser Cohen and Harald Kloser. The American distribution rights is acquired by Lionsgate, whereas, AGC International has the international distribution rights.
Premises
A strange force knocks the moon from its orbit, closing in a collision course with life as we know it. Weeks away from the impact, a former astronaut Jo Fowler, played by Halle is the only one who knows how to stop the disaster. However, only people who believe her are, a conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman played by Bradley and a former colleague, Brian Harper by Patrick.
Soon the unlikely heroes set to save humanity comes across another lie, Moon is not real.
Moreover, given Roland’s love and passion for sci-fi disaster movies, Moonfall has come a long way from previous apocalyptic movies. With the moon possibly being fake, the movie is sure to have much bigger secrets in store for us.

Well, before the Lionsgate released trailer begins, “Now, it’s too late to stop,” says Holdenfield.
This points towards mass destruction along with civil unrest that is about to take place. Followed by few disastrous sight, we come to a scene dedicated to the protagonist of the movie. Brian Harper takes a flying ship through the so-called moon, metallic structures from the moon spiraling through the core, tries to stop the flying ship. Showcasing Moon as constructed foundation rather than a natural formation.
